My Hair Tools & Equipt.

Hi ladies, today I'm going to share you about my hair tools and equipment that I've been using and carry around. It's very simple, specific and light. This is because I don't like to carry so much things and I only bring those things I will use it. Ok...1st what I need are my hair spray, spritz anti and anti-freeze serum. I need anti-freeze serum is because to make my hair smooth, soft and managable. The hair spritz I got is for holding my curler or wavy hair, depends what I want to do to my hair but it's specially for holding curly hair and the hair spray to add extra strong...Or maybe sometimes I wanted to do updo hairstyle it also can help to hold my hair.

Apart from that, I also might need a bobby pin, U pin, rubber band, hair teaser, hair clip, a brush (not in the photo), hair twister, hair roller, hair curler or even hair straightener. Don't worry it's sounds a lot but I only have to carry in a small magic bag.

I bought my Rowenta Elite curler at discounted price at RM184++ and its a ceramic technology. This Rowenta Elite curler has 8 functions or 8 hairstyle. It's also include the straightener. It's heat very fast, takes around 5 minutes. I think it's very worth to buy. This is the bag for my hairstyler. Small and efficient.

And this is what the bag contents. It's really amaizing right? so many things yet can fit in a small bag. I love it so much! At the bottom is how I arrange my hair thingy in my Elianto makeup box, it's from my husband, he bought it for my birthday present, he know that I obsess about makeup that's why he bought also something to do with makeup thingy. I love this bag so much, it's not very costly, it's only around RM45++.

Small & Simple, yet efficient!

Cleaning My Brushes

Hi Ladies, I was quite free yesterday and I did some general cleaning for my make-up thingy especially my make-up brushes...and here it goes...

I am quite hygiene about my make-up tools, I will spend at least once or twice a month to do some general cleaning for my make-up thing, and it also applies for how often I used the things.

How did I clean my brushes? Actually there are 2 ways of cleaning the make-up brushes:

  1. Method No. 1 is using Extra Virgin Oil, paper towel, clean dishwasher sponge, and any kind of baby shampoo...recommended Johnson & Johnson brand.
  2. Method No. 2 is using brush cleanser or sterilizer, paper towel, cotton wool, rinse and dry.
Since I have the opportunity to use my mom in law brush cleanser sterilizer, so I use it. This is how I do it:-

Mac Brush Cleanser

Pour a bit of cleanser onto the cotton wool, and start cleansing your brush; painting method (up and down) and circle way.

Rinse the brush with water, do not let the water wet between the metal and wood area, otherwise brush will get rusty.

Dry the brush using paper towel.

Hang the brushes in horizontal way. As photo above, and wait until it dries.

Quite easy right?

Makeover With Tita Sonia

Hi hi, today my date is with Tita Sonia ( Tita means Auntie). Tita Sonia say she just doing peeling on her face, which make her face has dark patches on the cheek and mustache area, if you notice the picture taken before the makeover you can see the differences. In this makeover it's a bit challenging cause I have to hide the dark patches on certain area. The eyeshadow I gave to Tita Sonia is actually inspired by Stepehn Moleski, he is one of Kim Kardashian makeup artist.

Actually Tita Sonia doing Facial and Massage Slimming too. My husband and myself are her regular customer, she's very good we really love her facial and we enjoy it a lot. Her shop is in Kg. Air.

Makeover With Carla

Hi again ladies, today I make a date with Carla as my "Model Of The Day" (MOTD). I'm so excited and so as she. I learned that I don't have darker tone foundation for her that cause her makeup look a bit fairer than her own skin tone at first, but after applying the bronzy blusher on her face, it look fine and more natural.

Lets take a look:-

This is Carla Before the Makeover

And then this is her after the makeover:-

This time the makeover a bit different, I'm not only makeup her but also do her hair.
I gave her sassy little sexy look, cause she like fashion and style at the same time look sexy. The hair is actually inspired by Kim Kardashian, sexy messy hair look. It's actually suppose to be a bit of wave...messy wave at the end but her hair is very straight and only manage to do like that.

Showing the Eyelid Eyeshadow

The eyeshadow I applied actually is from my own inspiration through reading magazines and watching youtube. It's match her eye and also her skin tone. It's not very heavy and more to natural.

Eyes Opened

That's it for today. And I'm so happy Carla also like the look and she also asked me to makeup her as well as do her hair later when she's going back to Manila. Thank you Carla for the time...selamat...

My New MAC Product

Hi there, this year is really a blessings for me coz at last I can enjoy my extra allowance to purchase my dream product ... MAC! thou it's costly but it is also worth to try coz it's a very famous and good brand when it come to beauty product like makeup. All this while I've been searching a good quality foundation that can last all day long and at the same time it is also easy to apply. I spent my time in you tube to find out more about MAC foundation and I found these you tube where she explaining about MAC Studio Fix Fluid with SPF 15 vs Revlon Colorstay. Well both of these product are good and can last long, however of course there is also differences between them. Find out more at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SPMNsKnrRq4.

She started with Revlon Colorstay foundation and her comments are the liquid is dry up very fast, and we have to apply and blend it very fast before it gets dry or else our face will have a patches on the surface. However the coverage is still good. On the other hand, Mac Studio Fix Fluid foundation is more easier to apply coz it doesn't dry up very fast and since the color is yellow, it is more suit for asian skin tone. Apart from that both product also doesn't need concealer as it is good enough to cover our inperfection skin.

Alas from my review and research from both of this products I decided to purchase the MAC Studio Fix Fluid SPF Foundation at RM105 (EM), together with it I also purchase MAC PREP+PRIME Skin Base Visage at RM98 (EM). The face base come in two type one is for the oily skin and the other one is for dry skin. Since I have combination skin, the MAC Salesperson suggest to me to use the oily skin base coz the foundation is suit for people who has dry skin and at the same time, indeed our face also need moisture and this two product suit me when this two products combine. The foundation also has two type one is for Natural Cold (NC) and the other one is (NW) which is very pink. Since my face under tone is yellow, I chose NW type or else my face turn grey or from my research some people will turn out orangey.

These are my new MAC products :-

FYI, before I purchase these products of course I took the chance to try and apply it on my face together with the finishing MAC compact powder...it's just like win win situation. However, in future I will also will try the Revlon colorstay.
