Goodies Update

It is not easy for me to look for a nice pallete back here in KK. Of course MAC, Manly 120 pallete or Coastal 80 pallete are the main list for my shopping list, but in terms of cost it is always not siding me. However, it is no longer a problem for me :) my trip to Langkawi was a very blessing for me. I should thank my little sis in law who found a nice makeup pallete called SIVANNA makeup, you also can check it out at http://www.sivanna.com/.

At 1st I was quite relunctant to buy it because it doesn't have tester for me to try the eyeshadow quality...I kept looking at the back of the pallete, and it was written there "PROFESSIONAL MAKE-UP ARTIST"...hmm...it does sound convincing to me...so I just closed 1 eye and bought it. As I reached the apartment where we were staying I quickly opened it and try it...Oh!~ Thank God it's such a nice eyeshadow~~~Awesome..The color is pretty and shine!! well thou the blusher's color was not so attractive but, the most important thing is the eyeshadow.

SIVANNA MAKE UP SET NO. 1, NO. 2 & NO 3

Unplanned Makeover

Last night I was lying down on the bed with my sister in laws and my mom in law. We were talking and I saw my sister in law (Lynelle) eyelid were 'naked'! It really make me feel wanting to experiment with her single eye lids. This was my first attempt on single eyelids. It wasn't easy, however. Viola! I've done it.

Before

Naked Face

After

Lynelle wanted to have smokey eyes on this makeover, so I gave it to her; Smokey eye plus with an elegant, sophisticated, classy and corporate look.

With eyes closed.

The eyeshadow smoothly blended on her eye to make the color more soft and nicely toned, so that it won't have like a 'rainbow' color

Left eye

Different Angle

I captured this from a different angle, from the left side of her cheekl, because at this angle you can see the cheek bone is nicely shaded and the blusher was nicely and smoothly blend too. It really looks natural. And yes of course, there is no photoshop. With your naked eye. this is what you see.

Makeover With Claire

I spent almost half a day with Claire just doing our makeover. We took turns to give each other makeovers. Claire shared some of her knowledge in this makeup world and me, passionately listening to her. Of course, Claire has her own technique and skills. Each makeup artist does, including myself. Both of us agree that in the class, there are steps for us to follow but it all depends in our creativity on how we pour out our knowledge. Anyway, I always believe practice makes us perfect.

Before
Whoops I almost forgot to take photo before the result. Thank God!
The Result!!
Dazzling...Isn't it :)
Eyes Closed
Eyes Opened
Claire's eye look pop!
My motive in this makeover is to look natural and pretty. In this makeover I emphasize the look with a medium light makeup which suitable for day, like church weddings and lunch reception, corporate occasions, high tea and also shopping! No touch up or Photoshop done in this art. It's just simply my miracle makeover.

The Less The Better

I know I don't have much time to do intensive makeup for myself, unless it's for a special occasion or functions like wedding and formal dinners. I only need certain things for my own grooming. Hmm, it's not too many but it's more than enough to make me look gorgeous :)

Bodyshop Limited Edition Eyeshadow, Bodyshop Liquid Eyeliner, Bodyshop Eyebrow Color, Elianto Marble Bronze Blusher, Elianto Hot Blue Eyeshadow, Maybeline Liquid Foundation, Maybeline Lipgloss Pink Color, Skin Food BB Cream, Kate 2 way cake powder(in ZA pallete coz I used to use ZA 2 way cake powder), Cyber Color Grey and Bronze Pencil Eyeliner, In2It Black and Grey Eyeshadow, Loreal Pink Blusher, Loreal Eyeshadow, Loreal Lipstick..forgot what color is that, Docille Pink lipstick, Revlon Brown Lipstick, Victoria Lipglosses, Vaseline Lip Balm, Kate Mascara Base, Estee Lauder Eyeshadow, Estee Lipsticks, Estee Black Pencil Eyeliner, Estee Lip Liner Pink color and Estee Black Mascara.

Not that much right? But as long as you know how to mix, match and blend, everything will look beautiful. If you don't believe it, I will show you in my next update :)

My First Attempt

My mom was my first attempt for my makeover. I tried to wait for this coming Saturday for my makeover with Clare but. I failed :( *sigh* When I see my make up tools just sitting there stationary, I just can't stand not experimenting new things. So have a look~

This is before. I took it when she was lying down.

And this is after.

I'm so sorry I'm not really good in taking pictures, but hey, I managed to hide most of my mom's freckles and lines. I didn't do any photoshop for this.

My Mission Just Began~

Everytime I think about make-up I just can't stand it! I feel like getting somebody and giving them a makeover, but I know its been a long time I updated my cosmetics. I feel like buying new makeup.

I decided to go to my favourite brand Elianto, to find something I can use to cover my freckles. Also my fine line (whoops). At the same time I also wanted to apply suitable foundation to me and my "VICTIM". Fortunately, I found BB cream. I also bought an eye primer so that my e/s (eye shadow) can last longer, brushes, silver & bronze e/s and other things. I can't really remember. The total cost was RM220! OMG. It's quite expensive though, but worth buying because I got free Hydrating Makeup Remover baby!

The next day, I went to Sasa. I was looking for fake eyelashes but ended up buying fake eyelashes glue. Whoops. Though I got to try that because the salesperson was the one who recommended it to me.

The following day I went back to Elianto to look for black e/s and lipstick brushes. It's for my makeover project with Clare :) I really can't wait Clare.

Shopping for make-up will never end for me! Hahaha~

Perfect Day :)

I just can't believe that I'm back to my hobby/passion/dream/fantasy land bla bla bla and bla bla. Well, who can expect an accountant/banking & finance/a mother/a homemaker become a makeup artist. Never did I.

I attended makeover courses and beauty-facial courses. Why? Because I love it! I love to take care of my ageing skin and I love to see beautiful, gorgeous and pretty people. I believe everybody in this world are made perfectly pretty with their own way. It depends on just how they express it.

When I was still single, I had plenty of time to take care of myself and even pamper myself with facial, manicure, home mask and etc. Stepping out from the house without a single makeup or touch up was unacceptable for me. The least was applying my 2 way cake powder, making sure the eyebrow is colored and curling the eyelashes. If lazy to apply mascara and a bit of lipgloss, lipstick is too much!

But now, life became a bit of a rush. When you get married with a child, it's just hard to find free time. However, thank God! This is wasn't a problem anymore. For so long I thought, if I'm really passionate and love something, and if it makes me happier each day, with every touch and every moment, just do it!

So people, lets get started!
